Spore-X Worldbuilding Story and Design Exploration

As a mercenary ship arrives on an alien planet after receiving a distress signal, it finds the only civilian tower overrun by alien plants and parts of it are destroyed, making landing there not a possibility. Spore-X explores the journey of the mercenaries from the edge of the crater where they land to how they rescue and recover valuables and trapped survivors in a tower at the end of a chasm.

They need to destroy what's left of the parasitic life while keeping everyone on their end safe and sound.
There are levels involving the Galactic Gardens and the Alien Research Tower.
